Cuticle Help!

My cuticles are in a really bad shape.
It's Winter and I dip my hands in water all the time.
A stone eraser really helps. If you use it hehe...

Stone Eraser
About the Stone Eraser

Made from high quality sandstone, the cuticle eraser is designed with pointed
edges for precision work to push and erase cuticles without scratching the nails.
To use it you hold it like a pencil to push back the cuticle. Then dip the tip
of the stone into warm water and rub stone back and forth across the
surface of the cuticle until it is removed. This stone cuticle eraser is also
a particularly hand tool to remove build up on the natural nail. Everyday products,
such as moisturisers and silicon from hair products, build up over time to leave
a fine layer. This buildup can contribute to nail enhancements lifting.
The best way to remove this is to first file down any particularly sharp edges
on the point of your cuticle stone, then run the cuticle stone up and down
the whole length of the natural nail from from tip to cuticle.
A silky white powder appears as the build-up is being removed.

What do you think about the stone eraser?
Have you tried it?

  3. I got mine off ebay & it's been a god send. I have a real problem with acrylic nails lifting, sometimes within a couple of days of application. I bought one of these and use it in the shower and ever since no absolutely no lifting. I always thought it was due to badly removed cuticles but having read above now realise it's probably product build up - who knew
