ELF Nail Polish Swatch

Well what a hard color to photograph right. The most accurate color
is the one with the name in the caption. The first and fourth
photos are too blue and the second and fifth pics are too red.

Royal Purple is one of the better e.l.f nail polishes. You get good covarage
with 2 coats. If you are good at making one thick coat then you can get away
with that. I did two thin coats. And then added a third coat for photos. But
of course I ended up with a dent on my ringfinger. But hey I'm going to fix that.

e,l.f - Royal Purple (no top coat)

If you want to know how it turned out when I fixed the little dent
in the polish on my ringfinger - I'll post the result in an other post.
So stay tuned. I promise you, you don't want to miss that!
I think I will scedule that to post later today

ELF Nail Polish swatch + Layering Konadicure

ELF - Burgundy

I was supposed to post this earlier but then I started the
10 Day challenge and kinda forgot. So I am posting this now.
2 coats of e.l.f - Burgundy

ELF - Burgundy

I did not want to leave it at that so I took out
my Nubar - 2010 and applied a coat of that.

I was still did not feel done so I did a leaf print
from BM04 (old plates) using Stargazer - 237

I like how this turned out as the colors go really well together.
The Nubar flakies looks like fall leaves scatered all over.
We still don't have any snow here in Sweden and it feels like fall.
So I don't know if I should post fall or winter manicures...
Or just post what comes in mind no matter what season.
What do you think?

Tamira at: Naudii Beautii

ELF - Light Red - Konadicure

Sally Hansen - Nail Quencher as base.
2 coats of ELF - Light Red
1 coat of Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

I really do not like the elf brushes. They are so uneven.
One coat of this polish would have been enought. But the
brush was impossible to work with. So I used a second
coat to smooth things out.

ELF - Light Red

I wanted to add a print to my nails.
But not have it look christmasy.
I think I did a good job.

Print with Konad Special Polish - Black Pearl using Konad Image Plate M8.
China Glaze - Hi-Tek using one of the "old" Bundle Monster Plate BM02.

ELF - Light Red, China Glaze - Hi-Tek and Konad - Black Pearl

Did you know you can click the pictures in my blog to view them bigger,
without having to leave the page, because the pictures will opened in an overlay?

Special Occasion NOTW

La Femme Beauty - White, Sally Hanse - Vanilla Bean
and ELF - Glitter Glam
This is actually a manicure I sported for 3 -Yes, Three - weeks during summer. I was not feeling well at all. And I was so tired I could not even bother changing my Nail Polish. And the pictures are taken after a "few" days of wear.

Products used:
Sally Hansen - Nail Quencher (Base)
La Femme Beauty - White (French)
Sally Hansen - Vanilla Bean
ELF - Glitter Glam
Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat.

Was it the Sally Hansen HARD as NAILS Xtreme Wear nail polish that made it last for 3 weeks?
I did not even re-apply any top coat.

Would you wear this to a "Special Occasion"?

Cranberry and Rosy Raisin - Outdoors
About time to post these pictures. Swatches are done in the summer - HELLO!
Busy summer it seems.

I absolutely love Cranberry.
Oh la laa!
Rosy Raisin is not so much me.
Teal I cant get enough of. And the copper is a great color for fall. Used it in this POST

ELF Nail Polish - Teal (On the bottle it says Teal Blue).
Unfortunately in most cases the ELF brushes are wonky.

ELF Nail Polish - Copper

All swatches are 2 coats. No base coat. No top coat.

I have all the ELF Nail Polishes. Got them at 50% off.
If there is one you want to see swatched just leave a comment.

ELF - Lips

 ELF - Luscious Liquid Lipstick

Cherry Tart
Strawberry
 The Luscious Liquid Lipstick
applicator looks like this.

I don't know why they are called lipstick
when they clearly are lip gloss.
Cherry Tart
Strawberry

ELF - Plumping Lip Glaze
I can't use the plumper cause that stings/tingles too much.

The applicator on the Plumping Lip Glaze
looks like this.

Ruby Kiss
Plumping Gloss
Oasis

Block Color NOTW Inspired by Shoes

I found this shoe picture in the news paper a while a go.
Somehow it inspired me to do a Manicure.

I used e.l.f Desert Haze and China Glaze - Riveter Rouge
to create a block color manicure.

I started off with Sally Hansen Nail Quecher as base and applied
2-3 coats of e.l.f Desert Haze on top of that. When it had dried I applied
China Glaze - Riveter Rouge. Alternating the pattern between
the tip and the base of the nails. This might have worked better
if I had used tape. So I did on the thumb and pinky. But somehow
I still managed to mess it up. And if that was not enough - I did not
wait long enough for the polish to dry so there was a bit of smudging.

China Glaze - Riveter Rouge

e.l.f - Desert Haze

This is a really simple design to do. And usefull
as somethimes I can feel that a red nail (or any dark color)
might be a bit too much to wear on long nails.
Yay for fall - this is a time when the darker polishes
come out to play. I have to use this color combo again.

What is your go-to color for fall nails?
