Sponged Manicure with Stamping and Water Decals

A Manicure from January 2018

It is really annoying with Nail Polish shrinkage.

Tried to fix it by sponging on more of the Orly, photos at the end of this post.

Painted my nails with Catrice and then used that and the Orly to sponge

a gradient on the nails. Stamped a net image. Painted on the sparkly side from
the Essence Polish. Added a Water Decal and a Baby Pearl AB on the accent nail.

But I guess you can borrow some from an other pair. I have used these a few times and nothing has fallen off. To help the pearls to stick and the colors not to fade I used a top coat on the Crown part of the earrings. I do that with rings and earrings that aren't real gold or silver.

Cartoon Nails - NOTD

 I'm in the process of moving all photos from 2012 onto an external

hard drive for safe keeping. And while I was going through my pictures

I found this Cartoon manicure that I forgot to post here on my blog.

Products used

I started this manicure with a base coat and two coats of Make Up Store - Madeleine.

On that I stamped with Konad - Gold Brown (looks orange) using XL-Image Plate D.

I added more stamping with Konad - Chocolate using Image Plate BM 09 from Bundle

Yesterday I posted a review of Crystal Rhinestones from Born Pretty Store.

Today you will see a Manicure featuring those fabulouse Crystal Rhinestones.

I wanted to pare up the light brown Rhinestones (Link HERE) from Born Pretty Store

with a dark chocolate colored polish. What better than the polish I just showed swatches

of Essence - 99 Wanna Say Hello - and that I just happened to have on my nails.

News Paper Print + Waterdecal

I used Essence Season of Extremes - My Best Nude Friends And Me

as a base color and did some details on the nails with the topper side. And

I also sponged some Orly - Au Champagne here and there on the nails.

Then I took a Chinese News Paper and printed with it on my nails.

Black and White Roses - NOTD

Todays manicure is really simple. It looks like it is stamped,

it is not. Applies really quick and easy with no mess. For those

that find stamping difficult this is an option - waterdecals.

I started out with Essence - Better Late Than Never as the base

color. After I had applied top coat I cut up the decals I was going to

use and put them in water for a few seconds. I used small tweezers to

pick up the decals from the water. Then it is just to slide the decals

into place and dab off water with tissue and seal with a Top Coat.

The rose decals I have bought from Viva La Nails and they

have lots of Nail Art related items that you can check out HERE.
