I started out with a Pinkish Base Coat. Over that I stamped with Konad Black. Then I added the tips with Wet n Wild. I used a nail art brush for the pointer. Plus I added the rhinestone.

On the accent nail i stamped with a Matte Top Coat on shiny black Nail Polish.

Testing stamping with Matte Top Coat on the Silicone Stamping Mat from Born Pretty Store.

I did not stamp quick enough on the nails, so the polish dried a bit and did not leave as crisp of a stamp on the nails as on the Stamping mat. I had to lign up the stamper with the nail to get it straigt and it was a bit hard when you don't see the polish on the stamper very well, as the Matte Top Coat is see through. On the Mat I just winged it as I was only testing.

Dried Flowers. I used Nail Foil Adhesive to get them to stick.

Seche Vite Top Coat

This is a Manicure I have done before. I really Loved it then and wanted to try it again.

Had it on for 10 days. Still Love it! To make it last longer I applied more Top Coat

and I also added Red French Manicure tips, just like I had in the first Manicure.

Sponged Manicure with Stamping and Water Decals

A Manicure from January 2018

It is really annoying with Nail Polish shrinkage.

Tried to fix it by sponging on more of the Orly, photos at the end of this post.

Painted my nails with Catrice and then used that and the Orly to sponge

a gradient on the nails. Stamped a net image. Painted on the sparkly side from
the Essence Polish. Added a Water Decal and a Baby Pearl AB on the accent nail.

Born Pretty Store Image Plate Review and Manicure

Part 2 of the Born Pretty Store Image Plates, with a manicure.

Below are Image Plate BP-01 and BP-02 "swatched" with Konad Black on

paper. And I should just say that stamping on paper and nails is not at all the same

thing. But overall these two plates seem to stamp well. The finer details and the bigger

fields of color all look like they transfered onto the paper. I used a Konad stamper

and a soft silicone stamper. A harder stamper than what I used could have trouble

picking up the finer lines so I would recommend using a stamper of the softer sort.

Manicure -  - Nordic Nights

For the manicure I used China Glaze - Millennium, Metallic Muse and

Little Drummer Boy. I Sponged them on for a gradient effect. And then topped

that off with a thin coat of China Glaze - He's Going in Circles for a little sparkle.

I was imagening it as Snowfall on a Nordic Night glimmering in the starlight.

From BP-01 I used the reindeer image and stamped with Konad Black.

Pros: Images that stamp well

Cons: Some plates have too many images making them too close to eachother.

But I still feel that these two plates are a nice addition to my

Image Plate Collection. Even though BP-01 has limited use to it.

Part 1 of the Born Pretty Store Image Plates

While I was on vacation a while ago I received an e-mail, from Tina over at Born

Pretty Store, asking if I wanted to review some of their NEW Image Plates. After

having a slow year on the blogging front I had to think about it. But only for a second

as I could not refuse such an offer. The plates came this week and and they look good.

The Image Plates comes with a backing and a blue protective film that has to be

removed. It comes off easily. First plate BP-01 is Christmas themed with really

cute reindeers and I love the snowflakes. Plate BP-02 has floral and lace designs.

Plate BP-03 has 3 full nail designs and 6 smaller images. No real theme on this plate with flowers, cats and a pictureframe. Plate BP-04 is my favorite just looking at it. It has peacock designs and a dancing lady that is a bit too close to the center image. The curly thing at the bottom is also a bit too close. Odd ones are the flames and owl. I think they could have left those out because Plate BP-05 also has an owl. There's also a farao mask and Hamsa hand along with vine and leaf designs. Plate BP-06 has stars and moons and could maybe be called the cosmic plate if it weren't for the cross and gender symbols.

Plate BP-07 has an "inca-aztec-mayan" like feeling on the full nail design along with cute butterflies a long floral desing across the center of the plate and swirls at the bottom. Next one is BP-08 with a tribal/swirly desing at the top and star- and flower wines and a lotus design in the middle and a big butterfly and leafes and an other lotus like flower. Plate BP-09 has 4 full nail designs and 2 of them reminds me of Nordig Wool Jumpers. Last Plate is BP-10 has five smaller images at the top of the plate and a large pasly swirl image at the bottom of the plate.

Manicure with Born Pretty Store - Review

A sweet manicure for a sweet tooth

I applied 2 coats of BK - #17 polish when that dried I adhered the Rose

Crystal Rhinestones with dots of top coat on my ringfingers. I applied top

coat to all my nails. After that I stamped the other nails with Konad - Pastel

Pink using Cheeky Image Plate CH41 and again I applied top coat.

When I applied top coat the Metallic polish started "eating up"
