ELF Haul II - Part 1

I got a bunch of products in my second order from ELF.

So I thougth I will split the haul in smaller parts.

I don't know yet if I will do 2 or 3 parts.

This if the F part. Mostly face products.

Now on to what I had in my brown box.

Pressed Powder - Porcelain

I only ordered 1 and got 1 as a gift. The outer package was labeled wrong so I was a bit bummed at first because the shade was too dark for me. But then I opened it an saw that it was the same shade.

Blush and bronzer compact

This blush and bronzer has been compared to NARS Laguna/Orgasm Duo. The ELF is just a bit lighter and less pigmented.

I just don't know about a shimmery contour. I'm not too crazy about that. So I use it as a bronzer with a light hand.

 Eyebrow Kit

Creates brows that are fuller,

thicker and more defined.

Shapes and sets your eyebrows.

Gives lasting colour defenition

for a naturally beautiful look.

Directions:

Use the pigment brow gel to define and shape

brows with the angled brush for precise lines.

Set the color in with the brow powder and fill in

with the blending brush for a natural finished look.

I have not had the chance to try this product yet. But it sounds good.

This is the darkes shade but I use dark brown eyeshadow or black anyways. So I am hoping this is good.

Eyebrow Lifter & Filler

Highlight brows for a youthful and awakened look.

Directions: Use the Lift pencil's sheer light-reflecting pigments as an arch support under the brows to enhance and outline the shape.

Trace a curved line underneath the eyebrow and blend down into the brow bone.

Usethe Fill pencl to shape in the eyebrow, then blend into the natural shape of the brow for more defined lines.

This product has been compared to Benefit High brow. It is supposed to be dupe. But I don't know 'cause I don't have that other pencil.

I always forget to use the Lift side. I have allready applied my eye shadow so I don't want to go and spoil that. But the pencil is good. I usually smudge or blend that out in the brow with an angled brush.

Waterproof Lenghtening and Volumizing Mascara

This took the curl out of my lashes when I applied it.

And I don't like that. Was a bit dissapointed. Will see what heppens when it "dries" up a bit. Or maybe try one of the other mascaras they have.

NOTW - Mermaid Dream

I started out with China Glaze - Cherish.

Did a diagonal swipe with China Glaze - He's Going in Circles.

Click on Pictures to look at them in all their glitter Glory.

I applied 2 coats of Cherish.

Ended up adding 3 coats of He's Going in Circles.

 Then I went in With China Glaze - Atlantis close to the cuticle.

Dabbed the edge of the polish with my finger to make a gradient effect.

I have got compliments for these nails.

My friends ask me how I did them.

Glitter is so hard to take pictures of.

Looks Amazing in real life.

For extra Bling to the tip of the nail you can add

China Glaze - Nova. Thumb and Ring Finger.

Why is it so hard to take good pictures of glitters?

ELF Swatches

Here comes some swatches to the Products from my Huge ELF Haul.

Take a look at the Haul post if you want to know what the packaging looks like.

I've had some time to try them out and find out how they feel.

ELF Corrective Concealer (4 shades) and Tone Correcting Concealer - Ivory

The Concealer Palette is dry and chalky and you can't really pick up colour.

I scraped up product with my nail to get anything to show. I don't like it.

The pacaking is bulky. It tips over when opened. I'm not going to use it.

Tone Correcting Concealer feels light and moist. This one I'm going to use alot.

ELF Studio Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 - Porcelain (on the left in both pictures).

It is a bit too dark and Yellow toned for my winter skin. But I think it

will be ok in the summer. Hope I get some Sun Rays on my skin.

Well it will not be wearing this anyways with the SPF.

Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 - Light Beige

This is a better colour match for my skin. And it applies better, feels nicer.

ELF Natural Radiance Blusher - Glow and Flushed

I use Glow as a Bronzer it's a nice orange/coral color with gold shimmer.

Flushed is a pink with gold shimmer. Both feels nice.

ELF Elements Eye Shadow in:

Ivory, Pink Ice,

Dusk and Moondust.

All of these shadows are shimmery. But no chunky glitter

ELF Duo Eye Shadow Cream

Black Licorice and Coffee and Cream

The light shade in Coffe & Cream has gold glitter in it. I love it.

I use the Creams as Shadow Primers.

Sugar Cookie and Olive

ELF 32 Piece Eyeshadow Collection - Everyday Brights

 Not super crazy about the shadows. Not reaching for this palette alot.
Shimmery and sparkly shadows. 1 matte. Not very good pigmentation.

ELF Eye Widener - Pearl White
3 stripes of Waterproof Eyeliner Pen - Black

The Eye Widener pen can be used on the waterline, on your Cupids bow

as a high light and in the inner corner of your eye as a hight light.

The Waterproof Eyeliner is not that waterproof. But I like the felt tiped eyeliner.

But please ELF do something about the package. It is the hardest to open.

Most of the times I end up with liner on my finger.

You have to squeese and pull really hard. Not a fan of the package on the liner.

I would like to try out the Studio Brush Set.
